Beer Sausage Peppers Onions

The smell of sausages, peppers, and onions grilling over an open fire is hard to beat. And it, for sure, brings good memories of the summer fairs, and outdoor markets for many of us. Try this recipe of ours just once, and you'll be hooked. -BBQ Pit Boys

Recipe:
Large Sausages
Bell Peppers
Onions
Olive Oil
Sandwich Rolls
Beer or Water

In a black iron pan and over hot coals, sear the sausages in oil. Add beer or water to the bottom of pan to create steam. Cook until the sausages are hot and nearly cooked through. Add cut up peppers and onions to the sausage pan. Cover the grill and cook the vegetables with sausages until "al dente", or slightly soft. Remove, and then serve on a fresh grinder/sub bread roll, and your favorite condiments.
